Kayak and Diving Adventure - Kapalua Dive The Kayak Diving Adventure is an eco - friendly means of visiting the Turtle reefs of Hawea Point. No anchor damage, no fuel spills and no underwater noise to disturb the marine life we seek to admire. A simple, safe and fun paddle takes diver and gear to sights that would otherwise require a daring climb down the lava rock in order to visit. The Divemaster demonstrates the technique we developed to enter the water and the dive begins. Drifting with the current, kayaks in tow, allows the group to enjoy a lengthy, one direction, dive with the added safety and luxury of having the kayaks directly above them at all times.

Kayak and Hike - Kapalua Adventures Your day begins at the Kapalua Adventure Center for a quick check in and preview of the day's events, along with continental breakfast at the Adventure Center cafe; followed closely by hiking through the Maunalei Arboretum, DT Fleming's 1926 planting effort on the slopes of Kapalua Nui. The arboretum boasts plant life from around the world as well as wonderful examples of native flora and fauna. Following the hike we'll cruise back to the Adventure Center for our fully catered and serviced lunch in the center's caf. A short van ride (5 minutes) after lunch places us along the Kapalua coastline. We will have kayaks waiting in Kapalua Bay for a casual cruise along the clear blue waters of The West Maui Coast. Sea Turtles are common sights and dolphins may visit us, so be prepared for the unexpected!! These kayaks are the sit on top variety, so we welcome the novice adventurers. All amenities include: Continental breakfast, full lunch with fresh sandwiches or wraps and chips, Soda, tea, juice, bottled water.

Kayak The Coastline - Kapalua Dive The day begins by equipping and instructing you in the use of snorkeling gear and the kayak. Paddling out of Kapalua Bay we head north to Hawea Point, searching for turtles and venturing along the rugged coastline on the way. The snorkeling at Hawea Point and Namalu Bay is missing only one thing, crowds. We are almost always the only skin divers in the area! We enjoy about 1 hour snorkeling and teaching you how to recognize Hawaii's marine life then we paddle, down wind, back to scenic Kapalua Bay. This is a great trip for a family to enjoy together!
